On the morning of September 11th, 2001, Senator Bob Graham, a Democrat from Florida and chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee met for breakfast with fellow Congressman Representative Porter Goss, a Republican from Florida and chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. Also in attendance for breakfast was Senator John Kyl, a Republican from Arizona and some other members of the House Intelligence Committee. They were meeting with the Pakistani ambassador to the U.S., Maleeha Lodhi, and the Director of Pakistani Intelligence, Lt. Gen. Mahmud Ahmed.
